Crystal Byrd is a young woman who loves the Lord and has a heart for young adults specifically between the ages of 18-25. In a society full of many voices vying for attention, it can be difficult to hear God’s voice and live a life committed to Him as a young person. Her goal is to let them know that although living for Christ can be difficult at times, it is not impossible nor is it uncool. You can be a young person, committed to God, and still look cool doing it.
It is Crystal’s desire to see young people push past the surface of religion and develop a deep relationship with God. Her vision is to empower young men and women to know who they are in Christ and be bold and unashamed enough to lift up, and return, a Godly standard in the world. She wants to challenge them to go against the majority and, ultimately, set examples for unbelievers by being true representatives of Christ.
Crystal is a graduate of Old Dominion University with a B.A. in English and a concentration in Journalism. She is currently working on an online Christian magazine for college students that she hopes will spread her vision across the world. Crystal expresses her love for writing, words, and the Word through blogging, her magazine, and poetry.
